Global Approaches to Multilingualism and Standardisation is a conference taking place at the University of Cambridge on 16-18 April 2018 and is organised by Strand 2 of MEITS. The conference aims to provide a comprehensive and comparative investigation into standardisation, norms and standard languages, covering a broad range of linguistic contexts and research perspectives. The papers will open up new perspectives on language standardisation and will present recent research exploring the subject through the lens of education, language endangerment and revitalisation, language policy, literature, minoritised languages, multilingualism and other related areas.
