Profile:

Dee is a Research Associate on MEITS project Strand 4 which focuses on multilingual identity in foreign language learning. Her PhD, completed at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge (2014), explored the impact of Dutch-English bilingual education on the learning of German. From 2014 to 2016, Dee worked as a lecturer-researcher in Ecuador, where her research focused on bilingual intercultural education for indigenous populations. She also spent a year (2016-17) as a Visiting Research Scholar at the College of Education, University of Florida, supervising students on projects on identity and academic language development in Two-Way Immersion education.
